Dwarf shrub heath taken from the south-eastern slope of the mountain. Wind-exposed and a predominately sloping area of the mountainside.
Mat-grass grassland. Sample taken at a point before the final ascent to the summit. Area is still used for grazing. A marshy spot liable to have snow lying after a thaw.
Moss heath taken from a knoll just south of the summit.
